Terms of Use
Last updated: May 2026
1. Acceptance
RISX by Kncok (“the Service”) is operated by Kncok, India (“we”, “us”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Use and to our Privacy Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. What RISX by Kncok is
RISX by Kncok is a public fraud alert service that summarises online financial fraud reported in Indian national media, official regulator advisories, and police communications into plain-language alerts. RISX by Kncok is not a bank, regulator, law-enforcement agency, or investigative authority, and is not affiliated with any of them. We aggregate and summarise publicly available information; we do not independently adjudicate guilt.
3. Permitted use
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial information and public-safety awareness. You may share links to alerts. Researchers, journalists, and institutions may reference the Service with attribution.
4. Prohibited use
- Do not use any information here to harass, threaten, defame, dox, or take vigilante action against any person or business.
- Do not treat an alert as proof of wrongdoing by any named person or entity. Alerts describe reported incidents, not court findings.
- Do not scrape, bulk-download, or republish the Service’s content in a way that misrepresents it or strips its context and sources.
- Do not use the Service to break any law, infringe rights, or interfere with its operation or security.
5. No warranty; accuracy
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. Information is summarised from third-party reports and may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. The absence of a number, link, UPI ID, or name from the Service does not mean it is safe, and its presence does not by itself establish that any person is guilty of an offence. Always verify independently.
6. Not professional advice
Nothing on the Service is legal, financial, or investigative advice. For an actual fraud, call the national cybercrime helpline 1930 or file a complaint at cybercrime.gov.in.
7. Third-party links and ads
The Service links to external sources and may display advertising. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content. See our Advertising Disclosure.
8. Intellectual property
The RISX name, layout, and original written summaries are owned by us or our licensors. Underlying facts and the original reports belong to their respective publishers, who are credited where possible.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service, including decisions made based on any alert. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.
10. Corrections, grievances, and removal
If any content is wrong, outdated, unfair, or infringes your rights, you can ask us to correct or remove it. See our Grievance Redressal page for the process and our Grievance Officer’s contact details.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts in India will have exclusive jurisdiction.
