RISX (Risk Intelligence System-X)
Methodology & sources
RISX (Risk Intelligence System-X) is Kncok's free public fraud risk intelligence service for India. We structure alerts, patterns, and clues from public reporting into actionable intelligence — this page explains our sources, editorial process, and limits. For the full methodology, see how RISX works.
Transform fragmented public fraud signals into trusted intelligence — research, analytics, and education — so individuals and teams can understand emerging threats and act with clearer context.
Where alerts come from
Each alert summarises a publicly reported incident from verified channels: national media reporting, regulator advisories (RBI, SEBI, Department of Telecommunications), law enforcement press releases, and verified official social accounts. We do not publish unverified tips, anonymous submissions, or synthetic examples.
Source attribution is provided on every alert where a URL is available. When no direct link exists, the alert is marked as indicative — not confirmed — until you locate the original notice.
Verification & editorial process
Source material is turned into plain-language alerts: incident summary, affected populations, risk indicators, and recommended response. We preserve the meaning of the original report, remove jargon where possible, and do not add accusations beyond what the source substantiates.
Platform scope & limits
- Summaries from public reporting — not a verdict, safety score, or real-time blocklist. Not finding something here does not mean it is safe.
- We do not provide legal advice or substitute for filing at cybercrime.gov.in or calling 1930.
- We are not affiliated with any bank, regulator, or law-enforcement agency. We summarise publicly available information.
- Check queries are processed locally on your device. We do not log search text as a separate server-side upload.
Editorial standards
For detailed policies on source selection, indicator handling, duplicate management, and corrections, see our editorial standards.
Independence & conflicts of interest
RISX is ad-supported to remain publicly accessible. We do not accept payment to include, exclude, or prioritise any alert, brand, channel, or reporting body. Official reporting channels listed on this platform are not paid placements.
Corrections & submissions
To report an inaccuracy, request a correction, or submit a public source for review, email researchers@kncok.com with the alert link and supporting context. We review submissions promptly and update or remove alerts when warranted.
Our commitment
Publish credible, structured fraud intelligence. Attribute sources. State our limits clearly. Never overstate what public reporting can confirm.
